Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
It has now been 1 week since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed the
privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 5 Nursing Homes and 1 Church. To God Be
The Glory!

Monday January 4 th ~
Published the update from the "Faith Assembly" church in Imperial, California. Then
drove northeast to Blythe, Ca. and ministered at their nursing home. Came in just as they
were finishing up a Bible Study. So folks were already primed. We had a wonderful time
singing Praises to the Lord.

Tuesday January 5 th ~
Crossed the border back into Arizona to the city of Kingman and ministered at "The
Lingenfelter Center" which specializes in Alzheimer's patients. A rather large facility with
three different sections. I sang in all three. Ended in a section which was just finishing a
church service. So once again I was able to step in with a large group already thinking
spiritually.

Wednesday January 6 th ~
Sang at "The Gardens Care Center" here in Kingman. Then drove east through the
mountains to a Wal-mart for the night.

Thursday January 7 th ~
Condensation had built up on the windshield overnight leaving icicles on the inside of
the van. Got a mite chilly.
Drove to Holbrook, Arizona and sang at the nursing home there. Then rented a
cheap/warm motel room for the night.

Friday January 8 th ~
Drove southeast to Edgar, Arizona and sang at the "Beehive" ALF. Then crossed the
border into New Mexico to Quemado. Hooked up with the family who donated the minivan
some three years ago. Enjoyed watching the Friday Night Basketball games at this very
small town school. Their son and one of their daughters are on teams here.

Saturday January 9 th ~
Kenny & Laurie have purchased a house just outside of town. So I chipped in helping
load and unload truck & trailer. Got a much needed workout.
Watched another basketball game Jas is in. Then enjoyed dinner out with K & L in a
nearby (45 miles) town. These little towns are far apart in these here mountains.

Sunday January 10 th ~
The last two nights were below zero temperature. Praise God I had a place to plug in the
little heater.
Kenny was scheduled to preach two hours away in a different direction than mine. So I
continued east to Datil, New Mexico to the Baptist Church where I enjoyed the Honor of
leading the song service. Both ladies who normally play the piano and sing were out sick.
These dear folks provided a sweet Love Offering for our ministry, and then shared a
simple Pot Luck Lunch they traditionally have after services. M.G.B.T!
Drove to Socorro, New Mexico and attended evening service at the "First Baptist" where
again I was able to plug in the little heater.

And So Begins Another Week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Yours In Christ, Larry
